Step 4 ~ begin sandwiching

Add some ribbon to one side of the stitched panel and match this with the longer (open panel).

For the pocket, Stitch along the top edge of the panel, lay face down and place one of the backing panels face down on top. Glue around the edges and pull tight, making sure it is straight.

Begin sandwiching by gluing the back of the pocket panel and the back - longer panel and sticking them together.

I have added tabs to the top edge of mine. These can be created by using ribbon or in my case, strips of fabric, glued down the centre for a no seam finish.

Apply your weight and wait for it to dry.
